Abstract

In Indonesia, 23.9 percent of adolescent girls suffer from anemia. Adolescent girls with anemia have poor memory and are less thorough in scholastic exams, resulting in inferior learning achievements. They are also more susceptible to illness, putting them at risk when they become pregnant. The goal of this study was to see how providing tempeh nuggets affected adolescent girls' hemoglobin levels at SMP Negeri in Gorontalo City. This sort of study uses a pre-experimental design with a pretestposttest research design with a single group design and a sample of 43 persons drawn by chance. Provision of tempe nuggets was the independent variable, whereas hemoglobin levels in teenage girls was the dependent variable. The average value or difference in the average hemoglobin levels of adolescent girls after being fed tempeh nuggets was 0.40 gr/dl, standard deviation was 0.42, and sig (2-tailed) = 0.000< 0.05, according to the findings of statistical test analysis with Paired T-test. Conclusion At SMP Negeri Gorontalo City, giving tempeh nuggets has an effect on hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls.

Abstract

The exchange of oxygen in the blood is influenced by red blood cells. If there is interference in pregnant women can cause anemia. Anemia in pregnancy results in fetal hypoxia. Hypoxia in the fetus can cause asphyxia in the newborn. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the degree of anemia and the incidence of asphyxia in newborns at the Sumatra Island Regional General Hospital. The research design used was case-control with analytical survey techniques. Sampling was done by random sampling technique on 80 respondents. The study was conducted for one month. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that asphyxiated babies were born to mothers with moderate levels of anemia, while mothers with mild anemia gave birth to non-asphyxiated babies. The results of the chi-square obtained = 0,000 < 0,005, meaning that the hypothesis is accepted. It was concluded that there was a significant relationship between the degree of anemia and the incidence of asphyxia in newborns at the Sumatra Island Regional General Hospital.

Abstract

Early initiation of breastfeeding is still difficult to implement because the mother's knowledge about early initiation of breastfeeding is still lacking. Whereas one of the factors that determine the mother's attitude towards early initiation of breastfeeding is because the mother has information about early initiation of breastfeeding. Whereas one of the factors that determine the mother's attitude towards early initiation of breastfeeding is because the mother has information about early initiation of breastfeeding. For this reason, the purpose of this study is the influence of knowledge on the mother's attitude to initiate early breastfeeding. The population in this study were all pregnant women in the third trimester who visited the RB. The study site and 46 samples used were determined using simple random sampling with a study duration of 3 months. This research includes analytical research with a cross-sectional approach. The method used to analyze the data using Chi Square. The questionnaire used as a measuring tool that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study of respondents who have the characteristics of a healthy reproductive age, highly educated and well-informed will have a positive attitude towards early initiation of breastfeeding. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between age, education and knowledge of mothers' attitudes in early initiation of breastfeeding. on, the purpose of this study is the influence of knowledge on the mother's attitude to initiate early breastfeeding. The population in this study were all third-trimester pregnant women who visited the RB where the study was conducted and the sample was determined using simple random sampling. This research includes analytical research with a cross-sectional approach. The method used for data analysis using Chi-Square. The questionnaire is used as a tool that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study, the majority of respondents have the characteristics of healthy reproductive age, secondary education and good knowledge have a positive attitude towards early initiation of breastfeeding. This study concludes that there is a relationship between age, education, and knowledge of mothers' attitudes in the early initiation of breastfeeding.

Abstract

Dyslexia is a disorder in the form of difficulty reading, writing, spelling which results in children not being able to read and speak. Teachers can stimulate children's thinking interested in learning to read using interesting learning techniques such as alphabet puzzle games and letter cards. This study aims to determine the effect of alphabet puzzle games and letter cards to reduce dyslexia. The research design is quasi-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach, namely measurement of observations before and after being given an alphabet puzzle game and letter cards for 3 months every 7 days. The research subjects were all students under five as many as 66 people. The dependent variable is alphabet puzzle and letter cards and the independent variable is the decrease in dyslexia. The results showed that there was a decrease in dyslexia in toddlers using alphabeth puzzle games (70% to 13%) and letter card games (67% to 16%). The results of the Paired T test statistical test obtained a Sig 2 tailed value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) meaning that there was an influence of alphabet puzzle games and letter cards on the decrease in dyslexia. The conclusion is that there is an effect of alphabet puzzle games and letter cards on the reduction of dyslexia in children under five.

Abstract

Early marriage still occurs due to various factors. This study aims to analyze and identify the factors that influence marriage in young women. This research method uses an analytical survey with a casecontrol design. The population in this study was 169 young women. The sample in this study was 64 young women according to the inclusion criteria. Data analysis in this study used the Chi-Square statistical test. The results of the study using Chi-Square showed that education (0.001) < (0.05), parental income (0.008) < (0.05), pregnancy out of wedlock (0.000) < (0.05). The conclusion is that there is a significant effect of education level, parental income, and pregnancy outside of marriage on early marriage in adolescent girls.
